Fine Chinese Silk Embroidered Panel with Birds, Butterflies and Florals: C19th China

Hand embroidered in China, circa 19th century an extremly fine silk embroidered panel with birds, butterflies and florals worked in shades of blue onto a white silk ground.
Made from two panels which have been carefully joined to make one long hanging.
Originally made for a woman’s traditional embroidered robe, these would have been stitched above the hems at the sleeve ends of the robe.
This is a great example of museum quality embroidery from this era, and is an excellent study piece or for design inspiration.
This would benefit by being stretched and mounted.

Condition:
In excellent antique condition for a silk embroidery from this era. An overall patina of age, and a light pink water mark. Nothing detrimental to the textile as a whole.
