Victorian Needlework Panel with Pheasant: Mid 19th century English
A vibrant, fine Wool-work panel depicting a pheasant drinking from a blue pedestaled basin.
Dating from the middle of the 19th century, it is in excellent antique condition, with the colours still vibrant and vivid.
The needlework shows a wide variety of English garden flowers including tea roses, morning glory, lilies, carnations amongst other English garden flowers.
The panel would benefit from being stretched, mounted and framed, which are services we can offer from our studios. Please ask us for details for this service.
