1920s Art Deco Gold Embroidered Tulle Cape
From the 1920s an embroidered tulle cape with trails of pink and blue flowers interspersed with numerous lines of gold gilt decorative embroidery.
This gold embroidery is echoed around the scalloped hem of the cape. It is an excellent example of Art Deco design.
The cape is in good condition for an antique garment from this era, it has some historic men’s, but nothing that is detrimental to the piece as a whole. It is delicate and as an antique garment made from a delicate fabric we would recommend only very occasional wearing, perhaps for a noe off special occasion.
