Antique Edwardian Tape lace Dress: C1900 England
Item Details.
A beautiful, entirely handmade tape lace dress dating from the Edwardian period circa 1910.
With a longer hem or train at the back it lends itself beautifully to being a stunning wedding dress.
Unlined, we would suggest wearing it over a simple slip in a similar colour. We have used a black slip in our photographs in order to better show the lace.
The dress consists of handmade tape lace with embroidered net panels and all over embroidered details.
The dress has more recent straps which have been added more recently. These can be replaced or altered to fit.
Because of the nature of the type of lace it has some stretch and we feel would fit between Uk sizes 8 - 10. Our model Amie is a UK size 8.
