Antique Rug Fragment with Birds and Tree of Life motifs C19th
Dating from the 19th century an interesting rug fragment from the Hamadan/ Malayer district possibly Tuisarkhan village.
With a classic lattice design, with bird and tree of life motifs, it has a woollen pile on a cotton foundation and is a traditional single weft, possibly made for the OCM manufacturers of London.
