Antique Arts and Crafts Era Silk Embroidered Tunic Dress: C1910 British

This stunning plum colour pink silk dress dates from the late Arts & Crafts era and comes from Europe. Owned by a family who lived in China and so we think it was made for a warm climate.

Handmade in a plum colour pink silk the chest has wonderful fine geometric hand embroiderey in the same colour silk, long sleeves with a double button and a round neck with popper fastenings. The dress has been finished with a curved hem and has a pocket.

Lovely to wear it would be the perfect dress for summer. Equally it’s a perfect example of costume from this era and would be great for film or television.

The condition is great for an item of this age.
