A fine silk embroidered panel hand worked on a fine cream corded silk dating from the 18th century.
With a bouquet of flowers in the Jacobean style including roses, carnations, peonies and other garden flowers and buds intertwined with ribboning.
The design is characterised by undulating leafy vines and varied green, blue, and yellow leaves.
We have professionally stretched and mounted the embroidery over a lined and interlined silk covered conservation grade board, ready for framing. We can recommend framers who specialise in framing antique textiles.
