Antique Linen Bag with Seagull Appliqués: C1920 Europe

Item Details.
A lovely handmade off white hand loomed linen shoulder bag, dating from the 1920s era with appliquéd hand embroideries of seagulls.

This unique piece reminds me of the Bloomsbury artists and I can well imagine one of them popping their scetch book into it and going off for a walk to draw and contemplate.

The bag has comfortable over the shoulder leather handle and large enough to hold all your essentials. Fastens with a leather strap and buckle closure.

Condition.
The bag is in good, usable condition. Some historic mends and an overall patina of age.
