Antique Traditional Costume Floral Print Harem Pants: C1910 Turkey

Item Details.
Dating from the early 20th century a pair of traditional Ottoman harem pants in a gorgeous soft red and pink floral print on a buttermilk ground.

Made in a traditional style in a light almost transparent gauze/ cotton, these would have been worn in the heat of the summer months.

The ankle cuffs on the harem pants are in a plain off white cotton and can be drawn in and gathered for the desired look by drawstrings. An elasticated waist has been added at a later date to the pants.

Condition:
In very good antique condition.
