Hand block printed and painted quilt probably from Tokat in Anatolia.
Block printing is one of the old traditions of Anatolian textile culture.
In a lovely soft crimson pink with traditional printing and motif. Made for use as a prayer mat but can be used as a decorative wall hanging.
Would suit a variety of interior settings and would work well as in most interior settings.

Condition:
In good antique condition with an overall patina of age and wear consistent with age and use. Some minor fading and light historic stains. A few sensitive mends and patches, nothing that deters from the overall loveliness of this textile as a whole.
