Originating from China and dated 1920, a fabulous block print red wall hanging or bedcover.
Printed onto cotton it depicts oriental vases of flowers, industrial scenes, a sun rise and ships, amongst many other things .
A highly decorative and interesting piece worked in beautifully soft colours with reds, yellows and lilacs.
This panel would work well in most interiors and has a particularly joyful and feminine feel.
The condition is excellent for a textiles from this era.
