Each bundle contains good sized pieces of silk brocade dating from the 1700s possibly from Lyon, France.

Once part of a waistcoat or dress they have been carefully deconstructed and would be useful for a costume maker, inspiration for a textile or interior designer or for repurposing into pillows or similar.

This bundle has 6 good size silk brocade panels in a pretty floral on a cream brocade ground. Enough here for a good sized project.

Largest panels: 123.5 x 25.5cm
Smallest panel: 72.5 x 25cm

Condition.
In good antique condition. These pieces have all the idiosyncrasies of an aged and loved piece of cloth so small marks, stains and signs of wear are to be expected and are an inherent part of their charm.
