Cretan Embroidered pockets and collar: C19th Crete, Greece

From mid 19th century Crete three beautifully embroidered fragments for costume, traditional dress.

Worked in pink silk embroidered onto a hand loomed linen ground, a pair of decorative pocket fronts and a blouse or jacket collar.

All are interesting examples of Cretan embroidery and would be good study pieces or useful additions to a collection. 

In excellent antique condition with no damage. One small foxing mark on one pocket and the collar has an overall patina of age, nothing which is detrimental to the piece as a whole.
