Edwardian Floral Furnishing Textile Length: C1900 English

Dating from the early 1900s a good sized length of furnishing weight wool with a delightful print of English hedgerow flowers including wild roses and poppies.

Printed in jewel like colours onto a beautiful deep plum/aubergine ground, this panel lends itself for cushions or pillows, and upholstery project , or lining a cupboard. It would also be a great print to reproduce into a heavy silk or velvet.

in good antique condition it has a scattering of small holes as you would expect in a textile from this era. All of our textiles are antique and gave the idiosyncrasies of old and loved cloth. They may have some flaws marks and other signs of wear which are an intergalactic part of their history and beauty.
