A fabulous ankle length dress made in the 1930s from a traditional floss silk and mirrored wedding shawl (Abochani) from Sind in Pakistan dating from 1910-20.
As you move the large sized mirrors catch the light which adds interest and glamour.
These shawls traditionally were made as dowry pieces and were worn at weddings and celebrations.
Embroidered in magenta pink and green floss silks to echo the colours or rubies and emeralds.
