Another antique Damasco San Leucio work of art with hand painted putti and a courting couple bedspread dating from the 1930s.

The rococo inspired design is hand painted and stencilled onto a cream watered silk rayon fabric.

It has ann18th century inspired scene of putti cupid angels, a pretty women being seranaded by a man, birds, butterflies, roses and flowers.

This beautiful boudoir bed cover bedspread has no backing or lining and is unhemmed down two sides.

It would suit most interior settings and could be used as a bedcover, wall hanging,
curtain or for repurposing into pillows, lampshades or similar.

Condition:
In excellent vintage condition with some dark marks which it may be possible for a professional cleaner to remove, nothing detrimental to the textile as a whole. There are some well executed historic mends which are so well done you can’t see them apart from on very close inspection.
