Dating from the 19th century a museum
worthy very fine flat-weave striped handwoven panel with tiny birds in the weave.

Woven by a skilled hand on narrow looms, these were originally used to make a very simple poncho type garment.

This would look wonderful stretched and mounted, a service we are pleased to offer from our dedicated textile conservation studio in Gloucestershire. Please ask us for details.

Condition:
In good antique condition some slight fading a few small holes which would benefit from some beautiful mending.
