From early 19th Century Asia comes this hand painted woman’s jacket.
Painted onto a fine plain woven cotton, and lined in a block printed cotton.
The sides are seamed from the exaggerated hip up to just below the arm pit: this leaves a diamond shaped opening under the arm.
The sleeves are sealed to the elbow to allow them to hang decoratively open.

Hand stitched throughout and in excellent condition.
