A traditional Kimono from Japan and dating from around 1900/1910.
This beautiful kimono is made to a traditional pattern using a lovely weight indigo blue silk crepe with a print of butterflies and flowers in yellow ochre and burnt oranges with touches of gold which catches the light.
The kimono has a quiet understated beauty which the Japanese understand so well.
It is unlined apart from around the neck and shoulders which has a buttermilk coloured silk lining.

Loose fitting, free size.

Sleeve Length: 13.5 inches (34 cm)
Overall Length: 53 inches (135 cm)
Condition.
The Kimono is in good condition for a garment of this antiquity there is an overall patina of age and it would probably benefit from professional clean.
