A beautiful chevron shaped headdress with a central decorative repousé disc studded with glass gem decorations.

With a strong Art Deco feel, you can easily imagine this in a film from the silent era such as Cleopatra…..

We think this would have been theatrical and would have been made for the stage, film, or possibly fancy dress costume.

We also have an extraordinary belt and another wonderful headdress from the same collection.

The headdress is adjustable and fastens with a fixed peg which clips into a series of notches.

Measurements:
20.5” smallest setting - 22.5” largest setting.
4” tall centre front
Band just under 1” wide

Condition:
In good antique condition with some traces of paint where the metal may once have been painted? The headdress has an overall patina of age as you would expect in an item of this antiquity.
