A beautiful and intricately embroidered fine gauze blouse from Hungary dating from around the 1920. This is museum worthy, we have never had such a finely embroidered blouse if this type before.

Skilfully embroidered in black and white silks with geometric motifs and with delightful smocking details.

Hand embroidered onto a light weight gauze or muslin, this blouse is a part of a traditional folk costume. It is highly fashionable today and would look fabulous, as shown here, worn simply with jeans.
