From the mid 19th century, a shield shaped soft silk velvet bag with silver wrapped metal thread embroidery, sequins and tassels.
In the centre is a stylised Tree of Life with floral and foliage motifs.
Made from a beautifully soft crême café colour long pile silk velvet which contrasts beautifully with the matt old silver embroidery.
In good antique condition with some minor looses of sequins and some light marks and fixing to silk satin lining.
