Dating from the 1920s and handmade in China for export, this gorgeous pyjama set.
Made from a beautifully fine silk which has been hand-painted and then resist dyed to create this beautiful kimono pyjama set comprising of pants, top and kimono.
With beautiful muted but vibrant coloured floral motifs and pretty borders it’s unusual for a whole set to have survived.
The unstructured pants are elasticated around the back of the waist an to fit a range of sizes, the top is also unstructured.
Amie our model is a uk size 8 but we think this set would fit a size 10 also.

Condition:
In excellent condition for antique items of clothing from the 1920s. Some tiny historic mends, a few pin prick holes and some vague colour run. Nothing detrimental to this set as a whole.
