We have two pieces of this chintz. Please read the description of each before letting us know which panel you want.
Dating from the early 19th century.
‘Funishing chintz, Partridge and May Tree. About 1815.
Block printed in madder colours with pencilled blue on a tea ground.
Reoeat 40cm high 1/2 drop.
Birds and trees in may variations appeared between 1814 and 1816’

Panel one has some damage down one side but otherwise good condition.
Panel two is made up of pieces which have been patch worked together. also a few area of wear/damage.

Condition.
All of the items we sell are antique and as such have all the idiosyncrasies of an old and loved textile, so small marks, stains and signs of wear are to be expected and are an inherent part of their charm.
