Dating from the 1920s a delightful printed chinoiserie chintz silk panel with exotic birds and blossoming branches.

Worked in a wonderful painterly style in soft greens, pinks, mauves and deep crimson on a cream ground, a beautiful colour combination which would suit most interior settings.

The panel is a good size and so there’s enough here for an interesting project. It is printed on a very fine dress weight silk and offers itself as great inspiration to a designer.

Condition.
In good antique condition with an overall patina of age, some small holes and one historic repair. Nothing detrimental to the piece as a whole.
