Hand embroidered in Europe a fine silk embroidered panel with roundels containing stylised floral and foliate motifs surrounded by a beautiful intricate embroidered ‘frame’.
I cannot emphasise enough the fineness of this embroidery which has been expertly hand worked in subtle beautiful coloured silks on a black silk satin ground.
This is a fine example of museum quality embroidery from this era, and is a good study piece or for design inspiration.
