Antique Fine Silk Embroidered Panel with Birds & Flowers: C20th China

Item Details.
Dating from the late 19th or begining of the 20th century, a very decorative and fine silk embroidery from China.

Worked onto an oyster white silk satin ground with very fine coloured silks it beautifully depicts two birds and flower branches within a silk brocaded border.

This panel would benefit by being stretched and mounted for hanging, a service we are pleased to offer from our dedicated textile conservation studio. Please ask us for details.

Condition:
In excellent, antique condition. All of the items we sell are antique and as such have all the idiosyncrasies of an old and loved textile, so small marks, stains and signs of wear are to be expected and are an inherent part of their charm.
