A very special antique printed velvet panel dating from C1900 the Art Nouveau era.
Stamped on the selvage ‘Liberty & co reg design’, it was designed and made for Liberty’s in the late 1800s-1900. Liberty’s the famous department store was THE venue for the best in art and design of the day.
The velvet looks like it’s been stencilled and handpainted. It has a lovely bold design in a gorgeous soft muted faded(?) colour palette which would suit most interior styles.

Condition: Very Good.
In great condition for it's age, this cloth has some marks on the central velvet panel which it may be possible to remove with specialist cleaning (see pictures)
