Item Details.
Dating from around 1900 a lovely crewelwork with a beautiful floral Bouquet.

The hand worked in wools embroidery features stylised flowers inspired by the earlier crewelwork embroideries of the Jacobean period.

Embroidered onto a natural coloured cotton or linen this panel lends itself to being stretched and mounted or made into a beautiful pillow.

Condition.
In excellent condition with an overall patina of age, one watermark in the bottom left hand corner which a specialist cleaner may be able to remove or improve upon. All of our textiles are antique and as such have all the idiosyncrasies of old and loved items so small flaws, marks or loose threads, are to be expected.
