Bespoke Crotchet Lace Ceiling Lampshade Handmade using 1920s Antique Textile

The first of a new project worked in collaboration between our studio and a wonderful professional lampshade maker (she doesn’t flutter an eyelid at my mad ideas and just makes them happen!)

We are delighted to present this large statement ceiling lampshade made from a lovely heavy weight handmade antique crotchet filet lace panel dating from the 1920s era, France.

Whether it is lit, or is viewed against the light it looks really interesting and is a unique work of art in its own right.

Made to hang from the ceiling it comes with a fully wired silk cord, metal ceiling and bulb fitting. This can be altered by a professional electrician to the desired length.
