Fine Antique Hand Embroidered Lace Sample Leon Goetz & Fils: C1920 France
Dating from the late 19th - early 20th century this unused hand embroidered tulle lace sample panel from the archive of Leon Geotz & Fils, France.
This has been handmade to the highest quality and would have been shown an example of the various laces produced by the yard to the Parisian fashion houses.
Worked onto a fine black net with a floral design hand embroidered and couched in an ecru/cream cotton. Its easy to imagine this lace being ordered and subsequently made into a fabulous dress.
This would be great for a project or for design inspiration or could be stretched, mounted and framed.
