A rare example of the finest silk embroidery from Gujarat, India dating from the first quarter of the 19th century.
Skillfully handworked this has to be seen to be believed. The detailing is extraordinary with tiny stitching and detailing. Inset with tiny shisha mirrors designed to catch the light.
We have mounted the matching pair of embroideries on a lined and interlined conservation grade board which can be framed or hung as is.
