A stunning large size figurative wallhanging dating from the 1950s/60s.
Handmade using a wide variety of textiles which have been appliquéd and then embroidered with decorative details.
The central nude figure sits within an arch and is attended on by various people bringing a jug of refreshments , a robe etc.

The hanging has been professionally backed in a new buff coloured linen.
