A good sized needlepoint panel dating from around 1900 and beautifully hand worked with birds, insect and floral motifs.
Embroidered in soft coloured wools onto a hessian backing and finished with a pretty decorative border or frame, this hanging would look great in most interior settings.
As with most needlepoint this panel would benefit by being stretched and mounted, a service we are pleased to be able to offer from our dedicated textile conservation studio. Please ask us for details.

In good antique condition, some minor losses to embroidery surface around border areas. nothing very noticeable or that detracts from the piece as a whole.
