From the 1920s Art Deco period this extraordinary silk velvet panel with appliqué and embroidered chinoiserie borders.
This panel could be used as we’ve shown in our photographs as a curtain, bedcover, wall or door hanging.
In a beautifully soft red silk velvet with cream silk embroidered & appliquéd chinoiserie borders down the outside edges.
Originally designed for a single bed.

Measurements: Each panel measures: 244 X 146cm
Condition: In good antique condition commensurate with age. Some fading to velvet and small splits to the cream silk borders. Nothing detrimental to the textile as a whole and to be expected in antique textiles from this era.
