A beautiful Chinese embroidered panel in a beautiful soft magenta colour silk.
The hand worked embroidery is skilfully done in lovely tones of gold with cream, taupe, light olive and pale brown.
Era and Usage.
This embroidery dates from the 1930s era, and woukd have come from one of the many professional workshops around Canton making embroidered shawls.

In remarkable condition for an item of this age. One small mark in one corner which it may be possible to remove or improve upon with specialist cleaning.
