Originating from Sumatra in Indonesia and dating from 1900 - 1910 fabulous block printed gold on red silk wall coverings.

Printed onto a magenta red silk the pattern depicts stylised flowers and foliage.

Highly decorative these would work well in most interior settings.

Condition.
The condition is excellent for a textile from this era. some darker marks and misregister in printing. All to be expected in an antique handmade textile and all adds to the history and charm of these beautiful handmade textiles.
