Antique 16th Century Printed Tapestry Wall Hanging: early C1900s France

An wonderful early C1900s French antique printed wallhanging of a medieval inspired 17th century tapestry.
This has it all, a pretty landscape with castles and decorative architecture and in the foreground a shepherd in medieval dress with a flock of sheep, and decorative banners with Latin inscriptions.
This is a copy of a medieval tapestry but we haven’t been able to find which one as yet. Watch this space!
Its an excellent copy and dates from the 1910/20s era. It has been printed onto a medium weight linen ground and is backed with a rustic canvas (applied later) which gives it a nice weight.
Measurements:
132 x 92 cm (52 X 36 inches)
In excellent antique condition with a mend to the canvas backing and signs of slight wear around the outer edges. All as you’d expect in a textile of this age.
