A fresh, pretty, hand block printed Indo- Persian Kalamkari.
Three Cypress trees (Trees of Life) in large pots surmounted by birds. The ground dotted with floral motifs.
A wonderful design in the softest colours, pale blue and taupes.
It has echoes and influences of earlier hand painted palampore hangings, still being used in textile designs today.

Condition:
No damage, a few pale storage marks which it may be possible to remove with specialist cleaning.
