A beautiful traditional Chinese embroidered skirt dating from around 1900. Hand made in a sumptuous deep coral colour silk satin with finely embroidered flowers and butterflies.
This skirt may have been used theatrically and can still be worn but it’s probably one for a collector or for repurposing.
Measurements taken whilst garment lying flat.

Condition: Excellent
In good condition. Lots of small
marks, a few small breaks near linen waistband and a couple of historic mends.
