A superb Jacobean revival Crewelwork embroidered Tree of Life wall or bedhanging dating from 1900, Britain.
Entirely embroidered by hand in soft coloured wools with some extraordinary details.
With stunning foliage and florals worked in a wide variety of stitches and techniques.
Once part of a larger panel this has a raw edge down one side. It is a perfect interiors project and would benefit by being backed, a service we offer from our textile conservation studio in the Cotswolds. Please ask us for details.
