An incredibly rare find, this extraordinary chinoiserie glazed chintz with a plethora of exotic animals, dragons, crocodiles, snakes etc.
Probably once part of some bedhangings it has been fully lined in another glazed chintz and has a frill running down one side.
Stillwith its glazed finish this is an unusual and rare survivor from another age.
The panel is a good size and & there’s enough here to frame and mount or to use for design inspiration.

Condition.
In good antique condition with some water marks and some historic tears and repairs as to be expected in a textile of this antiquity.
