From the late 1920s - 1930s a delightful block-printed chinoiserie textile panel of chintz alive with exotic birds and blossoming trees.
Worked in soft greens and pinks it has the perfect colour combination which would suit most interior settings.
The textiles is a good large size and so there’s enough here for an interesting interiors project.
It is printed on a sort linen, or cotton, which has softened over the years and now has a wonderful tactile liquidity.
It offers itself as great inspiration to a designer for copying.
In excellent antique condition with some light fading down one side, nothing detrimental to the piece as a whole.
