Item Details.
A unique hand embroidered panel or table runner dating from the 19th century hand worked in silks onto a hand woven cotton or linen ground.
We believe the embroidered strips were taken from an earlier, possibly 18th century traditional skirt border, which have then been reworked into this table runner .
The bag has been finished with a 19th century gilt thread wrapped fringe.
