From the first quarter of the 20th century circa 1920s, this traditional floral printed scarf or fichu which would have been worn as part of the costume of Provence in the south of France.
In a stunning colourway of reds and yellows on a green ground the scarf is made in a good quality cotton.
A lovely example for a collection, textile design inspiration or for repurpose ( would make a great pillow face).
