From Rajasthan in Northern India, a high grade silver belt with a smooth, tactile double length snake chain kept in place with silver bands, some decorated with round flower motifs.
The hinged fastening holds together by way of a screw which slots into a notch hidden within the decorative buckle.
In good overall condition for an item of antiquity. Signs of wear, some historic mends.
