An antique Abochani (wedding shawl) late 19th early 20th century.

Central motif of fine embroidered glossy silk within field of flowers and decorative peacock motifs along borders.

Hand woven narrow loom cotton ground in three joined sections .

Plain cotton sides added at later date to repurpose into single bedcover.

Lovely soft muted colours and time worn appearance which will suit most interiors.
