A rare handmade whitework baby’s dress dating from the late 18th century and probably made in India for a European family.
Made in a very finest handwoven Indian cotton it is hand embroidered in whitework embroidery. The dress is entirely hand stitched.
It is a lovely example of its type and era, would make a useful addition to a collection or it could be mounted and framed.
