Traditional Ottoman Gold Embroidered Silk Wedding Bodice and Skirt: C1900 Turkey

An extraordinary museum worthy gilt embroidered wedding outfit from Ottoman era, Turkey.
Comprising of a fitted jacket or bodice with skirt in the European style of the day which is made to accommodate a bustle. The skirt is finished with a border of lace around the inside of the hem.
Entirely handmade and embroidered it’s made in a traditional Ottoman style with the pink silk satin covered in elaborate gold and silver zardozi work embroidery with sequins.
An extraordinary example of an Ottoman costume of this period circa 1890-1900.

Condition.
In excellent antique condition with an overall patina of age. No marks on the bodice lining but under the arms the silk shows signs of wear and has been repaired at some pint in its history.
