Silk Crepe Brocaded Kimono Jacket: C20th Japan

Item Details.
A gorgeous short kimono jacket in dusky pink/taupe silk crêpe and fully lined in coral pink.

Made in the 1940s in a wonderful silk crepe brocade, it has a traditional subtle but exquisite Japanese/Oriental design of floral motifs in a pale coral pink on a soft mushroom or taupe background with metal thread outlines.

Comfortable and so easy to wear, kimono jackets can be popped over a plain dress or trousers and look wonderful. Dressed up or down, you will always look fantastic.

The drape and and hang of these kimono jackets is lovely - once worn you will never look back!
I have at least six in my own wardrobe and find them a brilliant addition to my packing when going away as they can be worn as a dressing gown, evening wear, day wear or a beach cover up.
